Base
To qualify for the 12 months guarantee, it is imperative that customers have a suitably prepared base ready.

Due to size, many building components cannot be manoeuvred through doorways, arched gates, through houses or round tight sharp corners. If the only access is through your house, a straight run is required and we accept no responsibility for loss or damage during this process.

General
It must be remembered that timber is a natural product and will be subject to movement and weathering as it seasons. It is not uncommon for small splits to occur in timber when drying, and warping if timber is allowed to dry too rapidly. These conditions normally rectify themselves in time, and return to original condition as humidity rises. This is nature at work and should not be considered a fault.
We constantly endeavour to improve our product range and materials; we reserve the right to amend specifications without prior notice.
We reserve the right to make changes and modifications to building designs without notice. All building sizes and dimensions are approximate and nominal.
Due to the nature of timber variations in colour shading will occur from time to time.
We do not recommend the use of naked flames in a timber building.
We do not recommend leaving children unattended in building.
We do not recommend locking persons in the building.

Building construction
The building sides and gables are constructed from 'Loglap' T&G, and are built onto 45mm x 32mm & 45mm x 45mm framing.
Loglap has rounded profile, is 15mm (at thickest point) and displays the now raised timber grain in detail, to produce a 'deluxe log cabin look'
The buildings (except garages) have a T & G floor built-in. The floor is built onto 45mm x 32mm joists to elevate it from the ground & allow air circulation.
The roof is constructed in flat T&G boards & finished in shed felt.
All the timber used throughout the building is treated with a tanalising process; this is guaranteed to protect the timber against rot for 15 years.
All building dimensions are approximate, based on external wall sizes.
Further timber treatment at regular intervals is recommended (but is not a mandatory requirement), this will help preserve the appearance of the building and help ensure its long life.
Our buildings are handmade by experienced craftsmen and can be built to your individual requirements.
